Amazing $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore available through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. The Main Attraction

The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.
