In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Disclosed
According to the authorized release, "An unusual encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of prohibited practices and fearsome changes reverberate through the obscurity." The plot features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden cult.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave.
